Motive announced a partnership with Navistar

Automated Operations Platform will team with Navistar's OnCommand® Connection telematics and Advanced Remote Diagnostics Solutions.

The integration will help customer fleets operate safer and more cost-effectively. Users will be able to get new information, including easy-to-read trouble code descriptions, severity ratings, and recommended parts. Managers would identify and solve problems that can lead to missed deadlines and increased costs more quickly.

Also, Motive customers will have access to data from Navistar International Trucks factory devices: vehicle location, engine hours, tire pressure and more.

Telematics is a combination of telecommunications and information technology. Companies use telematics systems to get information about the condition, profitability, and performance of vehicles.
