Kraken has received ISO 27001 certification
It is an international security standard which requires to provide evidence of security controls across 14 domains.
This recognition from SGS, a testing, inspection and certification company, is a formal acknowledgement that we’ve implemented a globally recognized framework and have maintained outstanding security, said the Kraken's blog.
To maintain certification, the company must take an annual surveillance audit, as well as a full one every three years.
The main goal of ISO 27001 is to protect three aspects of information: confidentiality, integrity and availability. According to the standard, only authorized individuals have access to and can change data.
