Cohesity will have clients in Singapore and Southeast Asia

The company's DMaaS products are now hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Asia-Pacific region.

The first offering, BaaS, is for cloud and on-premises workloads, including virtual machines, network storage and databases. The second product, FortKnox, is designed to increase resilience against cyber threats. An isolated and unchanged copy of the data resides in cloud storage managed by Cohesity. If necessary, organizations can use this copy to ensure that information is recovered from attacks.

With Cohesity, they can manage their data directly, use Cohesity DMaaS offerings, work with a Cohesity-supported partner, or combine all three options,” said Brad Schwartz, vice president and general manager of Data as a Service Management.
